5. Cell phone video shows Evans teacher taping student to chair
The Evans Police Department is investigating a Prairie Heights Middle School teacher after police said cellphone video surfaced showing the teacher taping a 7th-grade student to a chair. Evans Police Chief Rick Brandt called the video “alarming.”
