DENVER – Our late October snowstorm will taper off overnight, but temperatures will drop to near zero in the Denver area by morning.
Because of this, at least four major school districts across the Denver metro are telling parents Tuesday evening their kids are having a snow day on Wednesday.

Adams 12 Five Star Schools
Classes are canceled for all Adams 12 Five Star Schools students on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019.
Adams County District 14
Schools are closed for Adams County District 14 students on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019
Aurora Public Schools
Aurora Public Schools and Pickens Technical College will be closed Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
Boulder Valley School District
All schools in BVSD are on a 2-hour delayed start tomorrow, October 30, 2019, due to weather. Morning school age care programs are canceled.
Brighton School District 27J
Students in the 27J School District will not have classes on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019.
Cherry Creek School District
All classes at the Cherry Creek School District have been canceled for Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019. All school activities, including before and after school daycare programs, are also canceled.
Denver Public Schools
All DPS schools and administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, due to severe weather and difficult travel conditions. All school-related events and activities are also canceled.
Douglas County School District
All schools in the Douglas County School District will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019. Before and after school care (BASE), as well as all events, after school activities, and facility rentals are also canceled. District officials encourage parents with children at a DCSD charter school to contact the charter to verity their status.
Jeffco Public Schools
Jeffco Public School is on a 2-hour delay for Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019. Buses will pick-up two hours later than their normal schedule, and students are not expected to arrive at school until two hours after the regular start time.
Littleton Public Schools
All Littleton Public Schools will cancel classes on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019. School-sponsored activities are also canceled.
Mapleton Public Schools
All schools in the Mapleton Public School District will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019.
Poudre School District
Poudre School District schools will start two hours later than normal on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019.
Weld RE-4 School District
The school district will be on a 2-hour delay for students and staff on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019. School start time and bus times have been pushed back by 2 hrs., officials said, adding All morning preschool and kindergarten classes are canceled.
Westminster Public Schools
Students of the Westminster Public School District will not have classes on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, due to winter weather conditions.
