Warrant issued for man suspected in Aurora homicide last Sunday

AURORA, Colo. – A judge has issued a warrant for a 20-year-old man who police say is suspected of shooting and killing a 31-year-old man early last Sunday morning in northwest Aurora.

Police said they had obtained a first-degree murder warrant for Master Titus Uriah Martin, 20, in regard to the death of the unidentified man.

Though police said they believe that Martin is armed and dangerous, they did not release a photo of him on Friday, saying the needed to “maintain the integrity of the ongoing criminal investigation.”

The shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday near East Colfax Ave. and North Beeler Street.
