COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A shooting at a large gathering in Commerce City early Sunday morning left one man dead and wounded three others.
It happened around 3 a.m. in the 6300 block of Ivanhoe Street. Officers responded to a report of gunshots involving multiple people, police said.
Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced deceased.
Three additional victims were located a nearby hospital, police said. Their conditions weren’t publicly known Sunday.
Police haven't released additional details about the shooting. They said the investigation is ongoing.
The Commerce City shooting occurred at least five hours after a separate shooting in Denver, where two men were killed and two others injured. Police have not connected to the two incidents.
