BUFFALO CREEK, Colo. – Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies searching for a missing 75-year-old hiker found a body in Lost Creek Wilderness Monday afternoon.
The adult female body was found as crews were searching for Sharon Ann Davis, who was last seen around 2 p.m. Friday just south of the shafthouse on the Goose Creek Trail.
The body has yet to be positively identified. Deputies say recovery efforts will be highly technical.
