First, a Denver Police officer accused of sexual assault was arrested. Now police have arrested a second suspect in connection with the investigation.

Angiella Arnot, 47, is being held for investigation of multiple counts of felony sexual assault.

Three of the counts allege that the assailant was either aided by another individual, used or weapon or caused serious bodily injury.

Police did not provide any information about how Arnot was involved in the case, but a source told Denver7 that a group of friends met at a bar in the southwest metro, near Southwest Plaza last Thursday night, and then went to the officer's house in a gated community nearby.

Formal charges against both suspects are expected to be filed early next week.

The arrest affidavit and other case documents are currently sealed to protect the integrity of the investigation, Denver Police said.

Officer Davin Munk, 31, was arrested Tuesday night after police received a tip about an assault that happened in late April.

“It’s sad,” said police department spokesman Sonny Jackson, “but at the same time, we have to serve justice in all cases and there was probable cause.”

Jackson said Munk, who was hired in 2013, is being held at the Van Cise-Simonet Detention Center for investigation of multiple counts of sexual assault and one count of felony menacing.

Munk is being held on a $650,000 bond.
