DENVER – After riding the lightning during a concert at Mile High Stadium earlier this week, Metallica bid farewell to the City of Denver with a video posted to YouTube the next day.

The video starts by showing Red Rocks Amphitheater and goes through several Denver neighborhoods, including a tour of LoDo, Colfax Avenue, City Park and Capitol Hill, before ending at Mile High Stadium.

“Denver! Thanks for the great show at Sports Authority at Mile High… despite the lightning storm!” the video description reads

The show, part of the band’s ‘WorldWired 2017’ tour to support the band’s new album, ‘Hardwired… To Self-Destruct,’ was briefly interrupted by a storm that brought rain, thunder and lightning to the venue Wednesday night.

The band came back on stage not long after and “jammed a little bit of Ride!”
