DENVER — Scattered showers and thunderstorms will end on the eastern plains and light snow will also end over the mountains. Skies will be clearing from west to east across Colorado.

Temperatures will drop to the mid-30s to low 40s on the plains and to the 20s in the mountains by early Thursday.

Skies will feature much more sunshine on Thursday and temperatures will climb into the 60s in Denver and across most of eastern Colorado! In the mountains, a beautiful spring day with highs in the 40s to low 50s - wear plenty of sunscreen if you are heading up for some skiing.

Friday will also be a delightful day - a perfect Opening Day for the Rockies with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 60s!

Another weak storm will move across the central Rockies on Saturday, with a chance for showers and thunderstorms and some snow for the mountains. Temperatures will be in the 60s on Saturday on the plains, with 40s in the mountains.

Skies will clear on Sunday and mild, dry pleasant weather will hold through Tuesday on next week. Highs will be in the 60s to near 70 degrees early next week in Denver, while the mountains reach the 50s.

Another storm system may bring some rain and snow to Colorado next Wednesday.
