DENVER — Saturday will be the warmest day on our 7-day forecast, with highs in the low 60s for the Denver area and near 70 degrees over southeastern Colorado. Expect an increase in clouds in the mountains, but dry weather with readings in the 40s.

Clouds will increase statewide on Sunday with snow returning to the western half of Colorado. Temperatures will still be mild in the Denver area with highs around 50 to 55 degrees. Some light rain and snow may develop in the evening.

Monday will be colder with snow likely for the mountains and in Denver. The Monday morning commute will likely be slick and slow with a few inches of snow possible. Highs will stay in the 30s.

Skies will clear by Tuesday with highs in the 40s.
