Winter Weather Advisories are posted Sunday for most of the mountains. Six to twelve inches of snow will be possible, especially for areas west of the Continental Divide. A Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect for Douglas and Elbert for Sunday. Snow may be heavy at times just to the south of the Denver Metro area with 3 to 6 inches possible.

Tonight, snow gradually tapers off and skies clear by early Monday.

On Monday, skies will be partly cloudy, winds will be gusty and temperatures will stay chilly, with highs in the upper 30s. Mountain snow continues and Denver could see a few snow showers through the afternoon and evening.

Yet another storm is likely Tuesday with more wind, cold and snow!
