DENVER — Expect mostly clear skies tonight with very comfortable conditions.  Lows will drop to the upper 40s to low 50s for Denver and the eastern plains.  In the mountains, expect upper 30s to mid 40s overnight.

There will be some haze and smoke in the mountains and western valleys as the wildfires continue to burn.  Little moisture is expected this week, so fire conditions will gradually worsen as temperatures warm up.

Hot weather will cover western Colorado again on Tuesday with highs in the upper 90s around Grand Junction.  That hot and dry weather will slowly move east and cover all of the state later in the week.

Tuesday in Denver will be warmer with highs back in the mid-80s under sunny skies.

Hot and dry weather with 90s are expected Wednesday and Thursday.  A few afternoon storms may develop on Friday with highs in the 90s.

Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny and hot with highs in the 90s. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms may develop on Sunday.
