DENVER — Temperatures tumbled overnight with clear skies and all that fresh snow on the ground. Expect lows in the teens to low 20s for lower elevations and single digits and teens in the mountains.

Some patchy fog may develop in the South Platte Valley early Wednesday, especially to the north and east of Denver.

Sunny and warmer weather returns though today, with highs in the 50s. Some high clouds will drift across the state, but the weather will stay dry.

On Thanksgiving, expect increasing clouds and highs in the low 40s in Denver. We have a chance for light snow into the evening hours. In the mountains, a light snowfall of 2 to 4 inches will be possible with temperatures in the 30s.

Friday will be a dry day again under mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the 40s in Denver and 30s in the mountains. Lows will be in the 20s for lower elevations and in the single digits and teens in the high country.

Mild and dry weather is expected for the weekend with highs in the 50s in the Denver area.
