DENVER — Partly cloudy skies can be expected through early morning with low temperatures in the low 50s in the Denver area.

Warm weather will hold across Colorado for a couple more days. Expect isolated afternoon thunderstorms. The risk of severe weather is low, just some gusty winds and little thunder and lightning.

Highs will reach 83 degrees in Denver with temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s across southeastern Colorado. Nighttime lows will be in the upper 40s to middle 50s for lower elevations and 30s to low 40s in the mountains.

Thursday will be another warm day with just a few afternoon thunderstorms. Highs will be in the low 80s in Denver with 50s to mid-60s in the mountains.

A cold front will move into the region on Friday and bring a better chance for thunderstorms. We will also see temperatures drop into the 70s on Friday.

Showers will linger on Saturday with highs in the low to middle 60s. Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s,

Another storm system will arrive early next week with a better chance for rain and cooler temperatures.
