DENVER — Warm, dry weather continues through Saturday in Denver.

Highs topped out in the low to mid 70s for Friday with a lot of sunshine. Saturday will also be warm with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Clouds will increase during the day as the next storm system begins to move into the state. Some rain and snow showers will develop west of the Continental Divide later in the day.

A storm system will bring a chance for rain to Denver on Easter Sunday, with snow for the mountains. Temperatures will be cooler on Sunday with highs in the 50s for Denver and the Eastern Plains. Sunrise services will not be very sunny. Expect cloudy skies and temperatures around 40 degrees. Showers will be likely in the afternoon.

Monday will stay cool and unsettled with light rain and even some snow possible for Denver. A few inches of snow will fall in the mountains. Highs will only reach the upper 40s in the Denver area, while the mountains stay in the 30s.

Dryer and warmer weather will return next Tuesday and Wednesday.
