The storms will be diminishing along the Front Range overnight, but will redevelop Saturday afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Boulder said some storms could produce large hail over 2 inches in diameter, along with heavy rain of up to 3 inches over a two-hour span that could induce flash flooding.

Temperatures will be cooler over the weekend, with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s in Denver and 60s and 70s in the mountains.
