DENVER — Highs will stay in the 60s and 70s this weekend for eastern Colorado. For 2 days we've had afternoon highs in the low 70s for Denver. For Saturday, we'll have highs near 70 as well. The winds won't be quite as high.

The whole state will dry out for Saturday. Should be a beautiful, but breezy, powder day in the high country. On Sunday, another cold front approaches Colorado. Our temperatures will cool slightly before chilly air and rain moves in for the beginning of next week.

For Monday, cooler air and rain will move into the Front Range. We have the chance for more rain across the plains Monday and Tuesday as well.

Looking ahead- we could still use more snow... In the mountains, the snow-pack is roughly at 70 percent of normal for the season, with the southern mountain areas in the worst shape. The next chance for more moisture looks to be by the end of the week in the high country. Stay tuned!
