Highs will be cooler through the week

DENVER — Sunday we had scattered showers throughout the day with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

For Monday, cooler air will move in behind a cold front. Highs will be in the 70s to around 80 degrees. We can expect scattered showers..especially in the afternoon.  We could be even be dealing with fog, low clouds and drizzle in the late morning.  With the cooler temperatures, our risk for severe weather is on the low side.

On Tuesday we have chances for afternoon storms with highs in the low 80s. The sunshine returns and we dry out for the middle and end of the week -with highs in the mid 80s.
