DENVER — A storm system is moving across Colorado. Skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers in Denver and across the eastern plains and a few inches of snow in the mountains. Snow amounts will only be a few inches and some rain will be mixed in for elevations below 9,000 feet.

Early morning temperatures will be in the 20s to low 30s in the mountains and mid-30s to low 40s on the plains.

Denver and the eastern plains can expect a better chance of rain Wednesday afternoon, along with some rumbles of thunder.
Expect highs in Denver to be in the low to mid 50s, with 30s in the mountains.

Skies will clear on Thursday with highs in the 60s and Friday looks nice as well! Opening day for the Rockies looks great with mostly skies and highs in the 60s!

Another weak storm will move across the central Rockies over the weekend, with a chance for showers and thunderstorms and some snow for the mountains. Temperatures will be in the 60s on Saturday and 55 to 60 degrees on Sunday.

Mild and dry weather will return to Colorado early next week.
