DENVER -Slightly warmer air will be moving into the central Rockies this next few days. This may kick off a few light snow showers over the northern and central mountains. Highs will be in the upper 40s to low 50s for lower elevations and in the middle 30s to mid 40s in the mountains.

Temperatures will warm Friday, expect highs back in the upper 50s to low 60s for Denver and 40s to low 50s in the mountains.

A cold front will cross Colorado on Saturday, kicking up gusty winds and bringing some snow to the mountains.

Next week looks even warmer with highs bouncing back to the 60s for Denver and the eastern plains, along with dry weather. Tuesday and Wednesday will be the warmest days, with highs reaching 70 degrees in the Denver area.

Any stronger storms appear to be about 10 days away.
