DENVER — Skies will clear across Colorado tonight with low temperatures in the low 40s in Denver early Wednesday. in the mountains, temperatures will drop into the upper 20s to mid-30s.
Warmer weather will return for Wednesday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 70s for Denver and northeastern Colorado. The southeast plains will climb closer to 80 degrees, while the mountains reach the 50s to low 60s. A few light showers may develop over the mountains in the afternoon.
It will stay mild on Thursday with some late day showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s for lower elevations and 50s to low 60s in the mountains.
Showers and thunderstorms will develop again on Friday with highs in the low 70s.
Looking ahead — slightly cooler air will arrive for the weekend with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 60s. Another round of showers and thunderstorms will arrive Monday and Tuesday with cooler temperatures.
