DENVER — Skies will gradually clear across the state by early Sunday. Lows will cool to the low to mid-60s overnight in Denver, with 40s and 50s for the high country. Expect plenty of sunshine and a mild morning this Sunday.
Warmer and drier weather will return starting Sunday, with highs expected to reach the upper 80s to low 90s across the Denver area.
There is a slight chance we'll see an isolated gusty storm, or two, but the majority of the Front Range should stay dry. Winds however, will be very gusty at times over eastern Colorado.
In the mountains and foothills, a few isolated storms and showers will be likely, with highs in the middle 70s to low 80s.
Hotter and mainly dry weather is expected into early next week, with highs back into the low to mid-90s for Denver and the eastern plains.
A stormier pattern is set to return by the end of the week.
