DENVER — Temperatures climbed to 95 degrees in advance of scattered thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon. The threat for severe storms has ended, but an isolated storm or two will still be possible tonight.

The weather pattern will shift toward drier and hotter on Thursday and Friday. A few strong storms will still be possible Thursday - mainly east of a line from Fort Morgan to Limon. Temperatures will return to the low 90s Thursday and mid-90s on Friday with lower storm chances.

By Saturday and Sunday, mid-to upper 90s can be expected with low rain chances.
