DENVER — Sunday was a warm day with another round of storms and showers first over the mountains, moving east over the foothills, urban corridor and plains through this evening.

The risk for severe weather is slight to low. Main threats with thunderstorms that form will be brief heavy rain, small hail and gusty winds. Activity will move east of Colorado tonight and skies clear early Monday. Expect overnight lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Highs were in the mid to upper 80s for the metro-area, with 60s and 70s in the mountains.

For the start of June tomorrow, the weather will turn drier and hotter with highs near 90 degrees on Monday and in the mid to upper 80s on Tuesday. There will be a chance for storms each afternoon, with most of the activity in the mountains.
