DENVER —Expect more sunny, hot, and mainly dry weather in the Denver metro area for the next 5 to 7 days with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

The weather will be quiet for Sunday night and into Monday morning.

Fire Danger is elevated through Tuesday across a good portion of the state. Please adhere to any fire bans or restrictions.

Early next week will continue to be hot and mostly dry with storm chances staying low for most of Colorado.

The best chance for storms next week appears to be on Thursday afternoon, but the overall weather pattern is remaining quite dry across the central Rockies.

The hot and dry conditions will mean that the fire danger will continue to be elevated throughout the region. Be careful with any camp fires or outdoor burning.
