A much cooler day in Denver Tuesday, with highs in the 70s

DENVER —    Highs reached the low 90s Monday afternoon in Denver. A cold front will move through the state and usher in some much cooler air late tonight and Tuesday. 

Expect lows in the low to mid-50s Tuesday morning, with highs only in the 70s tomorrow afternoon. There will be a slight chance of showers tomorrow afternoon. 

Western Colorado and the mountains will stay dry on Tuesday with highs in the 80s in the valleys and 70s in the mountains.

The weather will remain quiet for the rest of the week. It will also get quite a bit warmer. Expect middle 80s on Wednesday, with highs closer to 90 degrees on Thursday and Friday.  

Another cold front will push into Colorado early next week, with a chance for some showers next Monday.
