With temperatures dropping into the teens tonight, there will be plenty of icy streets and sidewalks as melted snow re-freezes. Be careful through mid-morning on Friday when temperatures bounce back above freezing.

Skies will be mostly sunny on Friday with highs in the lower 40s. There was no snow over the southeastern plains of Colorado and highs there will reach the low to mid-50s. In the mountains, clouds will increase ahead of the next storm and scattered snow showers will be likely with temperatures mostly in the 20s.

The next storm will impact the mountains much more than Denver or the I-25 Corridor. Saturday will be cool with increasing clouds and a chance for some light snow late for the Denver area. In the mountains, 3 to 6 inches of snow is expected Saturday through early Sunday.

Highs will be in the 30s to low 40s on Sunday with clearing skies. Monday will be warmer with highs in the low 50s in the Denver area.

The middle of next week will be dry and warmer with highs back near 60 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday.

More snow will return to the mountains by Thursday, with a chance for rain showers in the Denver area.
