DENVER — Ready for some weekend snow? Well, ready or not... a winter storm is now hitting Colorado and already bringing some heavy snow to the Colorado mountains and will continue to move across the Front Range through Sunday.

LIVE UPDATES: Hazardous conditions in the mountains, icy roads for Denver as storm slams Colorado Saturday evening

The big story will be the extremely cold temps on Sunday. High temps will only reach the lower teens with the wind chill factor making it feel below zero. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the entire I-25 corridor through Sunday mid-morning.

Winter Storm Warnings have been posted for the mountains through Monday morning. Snowfall may exceed two feet in the mountains over the weekend as a series of storm systems pour in from the West Coast.

A moderation in temperatures will return next week with highs in the 40s by Wednesday, low 50s on Thursday.
