DENVER -- Afternoon highs were able to reach 90 degrees around Denver today (that was our official high), which also happens to be our normal high for this time of year. With partly cloudy skies tonight, our overnight lows will be in the low 60s.

Storms continue across southwestern Colorado, with a few pockets of heavy rain near the burn scars.  A flash flood watch is in effect Saturday near the 416 burn scar.

Saturday looks to be a bit warmer and drier across the plains.  We'll see mostly sunny skies, with highs in the low to mid-90s and only the slight chance for an late-day storm.  There will be a better chance of storms across the Metro Area on Sunday. Highs will also drop into the mid 80s for Sunday and Monday as storms move through Colorado.
