Tonight, showers and scattered storms will slowly diminish across the plains. Skies will remain mostly cloudy overnight with lows in the 50s on the plains and 40s in the mountains.

The severe thunderstorm threat will lessen a bit, but expect some strong thunderstorms across eastern Colorado.
Drier and warmer weather will return for Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will return to the low to middle 80s with only isolated afternoon thunderstorms.
Another storm system will arrive on Friday with a better chance for thunderstorms. Saturday will also be stormy, followed by warmer and drier weather again next Sunday and Monday.
