Windy & warmer In Denver on Friday

DENVER —  Skies will clear overnight across most of the state.  Lows will be in the mid- to upper 20s in Denver and across northeast Colorado, with teens to low 20s in the mountains.

Some areas of fog may develop early Friday over the northeast quarter of the state. Sunshine will quickly take over all across Colorado on Good Friday.

Friday will be warmer again with mid-60s in Denver and across the northeast plains.  The mountains will also have sunshine on Friday with highs in the mid-40s to low 50s.

Another fast moving storm will arrive in Colorado on Saturday. Clouds will increase and showers will develop on the plains in the afternoon.  The northern mountains will likely receive several inches on new snow.  Temperatures will be cooler - it the low 50s in Denver, with low 40s in the mountains.

Easter Sunday will start off mostly cloudy with temperatures around 30 degrees in the morning in the Denver area.  Some snow showers will linger in the mountains, but the plains will likely stay dry. Highs on Sunday will be in the low to mid-60s in Denver and in the 40s to low 50s in the mountains.

Warmer weather will return early next week for the region as highs reach the 70s on Monday in the Denver area.  Skies will be sunny in the morning, but another fast moving cold front will push into Colorado late in the day, bringing an increase in clouds. 

Rain and snow showers and colder weather will arrive on Tuesday, followed by dry and pleasant weather Wednesday and Thursday.
