DENVER -- A beautiful Saturday for Denver with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
In the mountains, the weather was sunny and pleasant with highs in the 70s. Overnight lows will be in the 50s overnight for the Front Range Saturday night.
On Sunday, there will be a better chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening as a minor weather disturbance drifts across Colorado. Highs will be in the 70s to near 80 in the mountains and in the low to mid-80s for Denver and the eastern plains.
Hot and mostly dry weather will return to the central Rockies for next week with highs in the 90s for lower elevations and 80s in the mountains. Rain chances will stay quite low for most of the work week - perhaps the best chance of any storms will be on Tuesday afternoon.
