DENVER — Highs this afternoon were in the mid 60s across the metro-area. The record for Denver is 70 degrees and DIA hit 65 degrees.

Slightly cooler air will arrive for Monday afternoon with highs in the 50s with partly cloudy skies. Expect winds to be calm across the area. More clouds will arrive on Tuesday as another storm approaches the plains. Expect off and on mountain snow for the beginning of the week.

It looks like our next snow maker for the plains and the metro will move in on Wednesday. Temperatures for highs by Thursday will only be 20s with sunshine returning.

The recent cold wave in the Midwest does not mean the our world is not experiencing global warming due to the increase in CO2. This is simply a regional cold event.
