DENVER — A cold front brought cooler, wetter weather to Colorado for Thursday. Skies have been partly cloudy this afternoon across the Denver metro-area...that will continue into this evening.  High temperatures were only in the mid-to upper 60s.

Friday will be dry and pleasant with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s under partly cloudy skies. A few late-day showers are possible across the plains.

A stronger storm system is set to impact the region over the weekend into early next week.  Showers will develop on Saturday and continue into Sunday.  This storm will be colder and will bring rain and snow to the mountains over the weekend.

Temperatures in Denver will be cooler over the weekend with upper 50s to low 60s on Saturday and just in the 50s on Sunday. In the mountains, temperatures will be in the upper 30s to middle 40s this weekend with a mix of rain and snow in the valleys and snow above 10,000 feet.

Depending on the track of the storm, there could be some rain and snow mixed in Denver Monday morning!  Monday and Tuesday will be quite cool with morning lows in the 30s and highs in the 50s.
