DENVER —Sunday will be quiet in the morning, but storms will be likely in the afternoon. We have issued a First Alert Action Day in anticipation of these strong to severe storms.
Highs will be in the low to mid-80s. We could see heavy rain, hail and damaging winds with a few cells Sunday late-afternoon and early evening.
By Monday, the weather should be pretty pleasant with lower rain chances and comfortable temperatures. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s and lows will be in the low to mid 50s.
Leaves are just beginning to change in the mountains and it will not be too long before the annual golden glory of our aspen trees begins to really shine in the high country!
