DENVER — Sunday was a cooler day for us with highs in the low 70s~ and thank goodness, no severe weather. A few storms affected the eastern plains, but it was comparatively quiet compared to the last few days.
Early Monday morning, winds calm and temperatures drop to the low to mid-50s across the Front Range. A light jacket at the bus stop is recommended for the kids as all Denver students return to school. Highs tomorrow will reach the upper 70s to near 80 degrees... so it will feel pretty pleasant to start the week.
For Tuesday, we have another good chance for afternoon thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 80s by the time we get to the middle of the week. Chances for afternoon storms lasts from Tuesday through Thursday. You'll also notice the return of smoke and hazy skies.
