DENVER -  Milder air will return to the central Rockies early this week as temperatures bounce back into the 50s in the Denver area by Monday- and in the mid to upper 40s on Tuesday.

Another storm will impact Colorado next Wednesday with more snow likely.  Highs will drop back to the mid-30s. Right now, it looks like we have a chance for light snow in metro Denver~ but we will monitor the storm as it approaches to see if a First Alert Action Day is warranted.

By the end of the week we will return to sunshine and highs in the 50s.

SNOW UPDATE: So far, we've only seen 19.4" of snow at Denver International Airport and that is about half normal at this point in the season. In fact, we would need nearly 20 inches of snow before the end of February to hit our normals for the season.

In the mountains, the snow-pack is roughly at 75% of normal for the season, with the southern mountain areas in the worst shape. The recent storms are helping, but we could use several more good snowstorms!
