DENVER — A change in the weather pattern will now bring cool and unsettled conditions to Colorado for the next few days.

Tonight, rain showers are likely across the metro-area and lows will drop to the upper 30s by Monday morning. Keep the rain jacket handy this week!

A stronger storm system will arrive Monday with more rain and much cooler temperatures. There will be accumulating snow in the mountains Monday and Tuesday and a chance for snow in the Denver area Tuesday morning! A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for our northern, central and southern mountains from Monday at noon through Tuesday night for 10"-20" of snow in the mountains.

Highs will be in the upper 40s to low 50s on Tuesday.

The storm will be a very soggy one with one to two inches of liquid expected over much of the state!

Stay tuned for updates on the changing weather.
