DENVER — After highs in the 40s for Thursday, temperatures will quickly warm Friday and Saturday. You can expect highs back in the 50s/60s around Denver and 40s in the mountains. Another minor weather disturbance will cross Colorado on Saturday, kicking up gusty winds and bringing some snow showers to the mountains.

Next week looks even warmer with highs bouncing back to the 60s for Denver and the eastern plains, along with dry weather. Tuesday will be the warmest day, with highs reaching near 70 degrees in the Denver area. Any stronger storms appear to be about 10 days away.
