DENVER — Our weekend weather will be affected by a series of fast moving cold fronts over the next several days. These fronts will race across Colorado from the Pacific Northwest and bring periods of snow to the northern and central mountains and a few showers for Denver and the eastern plains.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a slight chance for a few scattered showers. For Denver, it will be a good day for the Broncos to get back on the winning track at Mile High! Temperatures will be in the mid 50s on the plains and 40s in the high country.

Another cold front will move across Colorado on Sunday night and Monday with some showers possible in Denver and another 6 to 12 inches of snow for the mountains.

Tuesday will be dry and quiet, followed by more rain and snow chances with another fast moving cold front on Wednesday.
