DENVER — The weather has returned to beautiful over most of Colorado.  A weak storm system over Arizona will swirl to the northeast and bring some high clouds to Denver and the eastern plains, but no rain or snow is expected.

There will be some rain and snow over the Southwest Mountains during the next 2 days.  Three to six inches of snow will fall over elevations above 10,000 feet in the San Juan Mountains.

Dry weather conditions can be expected this week for Denver and the northern half of Colorado.

Temperatures across the plains will climb into the upper 50s to low 60s for Wednesday and Thursday. In the mountains, readings will be in the 40s to low 50s during the day and upper teens to mid-20s at night.

By the weekend, the weather should be dry, pleasant and warmer with highs in the 60s to low 70s!
