One more warm day before a spring storm moves in

DENVER — Enjoy the weather for one more day! A very strong cold front is set to impact Colorado by the end of the weekend into early next week.

Sunday will be a very pleasant day with sunshine in the morning and increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs will climb again to the 70s in Denver and across the plains, with 60s in the mountains. More widespread shower and thunderstorm activity is expected to develop later in the day.

A strong cold front will move into Colorado on Monday. Rain and much colder weather will arrive Monday, with temperatures only in the 40s in Denver metro-area and 30s in the mountains.

Tuesday will be even colder with light rain and even some snow possible in Denver! Highs will only be in the 40s with low temperatures close to the freezing mark!

Cool and unsettled weather will continue on Wednesday with a good chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the 50s to low 60s. The end of the week looks milder and dry, with 60s and 70s returning to the Front Range.
