DENVER — More beautiful fall weather is on the way for Colorado! Skies will be clear tonight, although a bit hazy from wildfire smoke. Lows will be in the 40s on the plains and upper 20s to middle 30s in the mountains.
Southwest winds will pick up tomorrow and that will lead to warmer weather and an increase in fire danger statewide. Highs will peak highs near 80 degrees in Denver and across the eastern plains, with 60s to mid-70s in the mountains.
A weak cold front will slip across Colorado Saturday, but it will come through dry - We do not expect any rain to show up for the remainder of the weekend. Temperatures will be a little cooler with highs in the 60s to around 70 degrees in Denver and upper 50s to mid-60s in the mountains.
Dry and pleasant weather will continue into early next week.
