DENVER — It was just 4 days ago that we had snow falling with our temperatures in the 30s. Fast forward to Mother's Day- and our highs reached the low to mid 70s for the metro Denver area.

In the mountains, we had temperatures around 55 to 60 degrees.

Monday will be dry and warm with highs in the upper 70s! There is a better chance for scattered late-day storms and showers over the mountains and foothills on Monday afternoon. The Denver metro area is expected to stay dry, with lows milder, dropping to the upper 40s to near 50 degrees overnight.

Highs will reach 80 degrees for most of the week in Denver, with that beautiful sunshine sticking around.

We will have a chance for thunderstorms by the end of the week, and temperatures will be cooler, in the 60s, by next weekend.
