BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- Five people were injured, including a child, following a car rollover in Broomfield late Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened on I-25 and E-470 in Broomfield at around 3 p.m., according to the Broomfield Police Department.

A car apparently lost control and clipped another vehicle before rolling over with five people inside, according to Broomfield Police Sergeant Steve Griebel.

Those injured were taken to a hospital. Denver7 was not immediately able to confirm their conditions, except for a child, who is said to be in serious conditions.

Following that crash, a second crash occurred at 128th Avenue and northbound I-25 in Thornton. Denver7 was not immediately able to confirm if anyone was injured.

A third crash followed, this time at I-25 and 122th Avenue. That crash was cleared within 20 minutes.
