The Colorado Rockies rookie sensation Trevor Story has been named the National League's Player of the Week.
Story hit seven home runs and earned 12 RBI's in his first six games in the National League. He hit at least one home run in five of his first six games.
Story, a shortstop, was drafted by the Rockies.
"It has been fun so far," Story said.
"He uses his lower half well. That's usually where it comes from," Colorado manager Walt Weiss said. "The guys that hit from the ground up tend to have more power, and that's what he does very well. He really uses his backside. Yeah, that's where he generates. He's a strong kid."
