Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon still drives the car he bought in high school, a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.
The former All-Star took 7Sports Arran Andersen for a spin at Spring Training in Scottsdale, Arizona.
It stands out in the team's parking lot which is filled with luxery and high-performance sports cars.
"This is my car, nobody else has this car. You look around this parking lot, you see a lot of other cars. Nobody has this one. This is actually the best year, 2004 was the best year that they made of the Grand Cherokee. Yeah it gets the job done," Blackmon said.
He stores his weight-lifting gloves, Wiffle bat, fishing gear and a fishing hat in the rear cargo area.
Rockies right fielder Carlos Gonzalez jokes that he is always pressuring Blackmon to buy a new car.
"He say he's building on and he's gonna surprise me on day. I'm still waiting, its been over a year. So, hopefully this is the year that Charlie show up to the ballpark with a little bit of swag and fashion," said Gonzalez
Blackmon also discussed why his teammate DJ LeMahieu had to come to his rescue after he ran out of gas in Atlanta.

"I have a digital gauge. It tells you 10 miles empty. 5 miles empty. You know that's like a suggestion," Blackmon explained.
"I don't really like people telling me what to do. So like this little flashy light, I don't care about that. So i was just pushing the limit seeing how far I could go."
LeMahieu says Blackmon is lucky he was running late for workouts and could stop to help him.
"Caught him at the right moment, that's for sure. Looked like a caveman, a caveman (that ) slept in his car all night," LeMahieu told 7Sports.
