DENVER - Gary Harris has nothing but respect for the Mile High City.
Despite a rocky season with the Denver Nuggets, he wrote love letter to our town.
The 20-year-old shooting guard just re-joined the team for the NBA summer league.
He writes, “The people out here are so friendly. You cannot walk down the street without someone smiling at you or asking how your day is going and I think that’s great.”
Harris believes the people who live outside of Denver aren’t aware of what a cool place this is.
“When I first moved out here, I honestly didn’t know what to expect,” he says. “I’ve realized how thankful and blessed I am to be in such a great city. Definitely looking forward to really enjoying my second year here and continuing to chase my dreams everyday.”
Harris hurt his back last season, causing him to miss several games, and he struggled to make it on the scoreboard. Looks like he's ready for another go!
