LITTLETON, Colo. -- The Littleton Hawks' Bantam "A" 13- and 14-year-old "Black" hockey team held a food drive to help the St. Elizabeth's Pantry at Pax Christi Church.

The players as well as the coach, Cole Fletcher, collected food outside a King Soopers in Highlands Ranch.

How did they do? The kids collected enough food to pack the lobby at the Church — great job Hawks!

Denver7 Sports would like to encourage all young athletes to get involved in their communities and start giving back at an early age. If your team does something good for others, let us know. We will give them the recognition they deserve! Send in your story and pictures to sports director Lionel Bienvenu or post them on Lionel’s Facebook page.
