CU and CSU's men's basketball teams both got invited to the NIT Sunday night. The Rams are a 4-seed in their bracket and will host No. 5 College of Charleston on Tuesday, March 14. CSU enters the postseason with a 23-11 record, having gone 13-5 in the Mountain West and finished as the runner-up in both the regular season and postseason tournament.

The University of Colorado will play UCF in a first round game on Wednesday, March 15, in Orlando.  The Buffaloes are the No. 5 seed and head east to play the Knights for a 5 p.m. MT tip-off. The winner of Wednesday’s game will play the winner of top-seed Illinois State and No. 8 seed UC Irvine in the second round, to be announced, March 16-20.
