DENVER — Broncos fans are breathing a sigh of relief after Sunday's win.

Fans watching the game at Society Sports and Spirits in Denver say 0-5 would have been a tough pill to swallow. Fans say they are hopeful the team can turn the season around.

With the win, the team avoids what would have been the worst start in Bronco's history.

"We have a lot of bad records against us," said Broncos fan Nicole Martinez.

The Broncos jumped out to an early lead. This year, the second half of games has been the Broncos Achilles Heel. As the game got closer, doubt set in for some fans.

"It’s gut-wrenching. Like the Bears game. I was at that game, and I felt like we should have won that,” said Broncos fan Sarah Korner.

Alyssa Avila said she remains loyal, but another loss would have really hurt.

"I love my broncos, but 0-4, and we’ve been losing in the end. It’s a big game," she said.

Former Bronco Mark Cooper knows a thing or two about the Broncos winning ways.

"They are going to put this together,” said Cooper. “Munchak and the coaching staff is a good one. I think everybody in town is pretty optimistic that we will pull this around."

The Broncos play the Tennessee Titans next week. The Titans are 2-3 this season.
